Supporting the planning of the Red Line of the light rail in the Tel Aviv

Summary

This project included environmental planning and support in preparing various environmental documents for the light rail project in the Tel Aviv area, the line known as the “Red Line” – starting from the depot in Kiryat Aryeh in Petah Tikva through approximately 12 km of tunnel and underground stations, along with an additional 12 km of above-ground line to central Tel Aviv, Jaffa and Bat Yam.

In total, the line includes 34 stations, of which 10 are underground and 24 are above-ground.

The support and preparation of the environmental documents included a review of land uses and designations, aspects of air quality, noise, vibrations, hydrogeology, soil contamination, elements of public participation, and dialogues with city building committees.
