Preparing an environmental impact assessment for the northern access road plan to the “Hadarom” seaport in Ashdod
The Israel Ports Company (IPC) has advanced a plan for a new access road to the “Hadarom” Seaport in Ashdod, which will pass through the northern part of the northern industrial zone in Ashdod, connect the Ashdod North Interchange on Road No. 4 to the “Hadarom” Seaport, and is designed as a highway with 3 lanes in each direction.
AdaMa provided environmental support to the planning team during the urban planning phase, which was submitted as a change to the National Outline Plan TAMA 13/B/1/2, and in preparing an environmental impact assessment for the road plan.
This assessment included, among other things, consideration of aspects of land use designation and use, geology, potential for soil contamination, drainage, air quality, ecology, landscape, and hazardous materials risks.
